| The
Australian government drug strategy for licit (legal) and
illicit (illegal) drugs is centred around harm minimisation
- an approach that incorporates the strategies of demand
reduction, supply reduction and
harm reduction.
Demand
reduction involves drug education and counselling, drug detox
and drug treatment programs. Supply reduction hinges around
customs and policing that targets drug importers and distributors.
Harm
reduction acknowledges that drug use will occur but should
be made as safe as possible.
Within
this theme, we present our ongoing series of Hep
C Review centrespread HCV prevention posters. They
can be printed out on your colour printer or emailed to professional
print shops for colour printing in A3 size.
The
posters are published by the Hepatitis C Council of NSW and
were developed in line with our Resources
Development Guidelines. They have been approved and endorsed
by the NSW Department of Health.
